Museum of Music History
The remit of the Museum of Music History:
- organological (instrument history) research
- collection, processing and publication of documents of the Hungarian and European music history (manuscripts, letters, pictures, instruments, legacies) in monographic form and in the framework of exhibitions
- research and publication on musical iconography
- recording and inspection of state-owned master instruments
- The staff of the Museum of Music History do not carry out valuations of musical instruments or forensic work!
